Yes, I loved the first one. I really hope they can come up with something to justify a sequel, but the first one was good enough that I'm quietly hopeful they'll pull it off

will be interesting to see if they stick with the same POV technique, give it a new take, or try and find something else as inventive. regardless, pretty hyped for this as i *loved* the first one.

I think people are too harsh about Eowyn’s ending, and the idea that she was being saddled with feminine domesticity or whatever. Tolkien is *rewarding* her with the exact *same* fate he gave all his highest heroes. She gets the same thing Sam and Faramir get: peace, love, marriage, and happiness.

Streeting: "I am not a danger to children in this specific context"
This is the funniest headline I seen in a long time. And bravo to whoever underlined the desperation with the juxtaposed link.

I defy even you to find it interesting.

I really like @raccoon.pizza's Ride by Night. I get excited too easily.

Cici, the sentient mugato, I think, has a very good brain part, but her mouth part isn't quite up to Federation Standard, so she relies on the translators to communicate.

I think she'd chose a very girly voice for herself.

Not even an “I didn’t know” (which would still be lying but somewhat more believable). He’s denying he even had anything to do with Mandeldon. How many more kiddy fiddlers is Wes in bed with? And is everyone he is in bed with at least 18 or over?
Trumpian levels of dishonesty & distraction by Streeting.

Trying to divert attention away from the fact that, as Health Secretary, he gave our health data to dodgy US spy firm Palentir…

…which was represented by *Peter Mandelson’s* lobbying company.

every labour mp is talking about how they musn't look inward.

obviously a 'messaging' memo.

what this means is that they don't want to self-reflect or figure out what they done wrong. they're just going to carry on fucking everyone over and nothing is going to change.
My constituents want me to focus on cost-of-living, jobs, NHS services, tackling crime & providing opportunities for young people.

They're not interested in who is comms director in No 10 or PM's chief of staff.

That's why we need to focus on the country & not look inwards.

PM has my support.
