I don't know how he does it, but the Hooligan can knock my watch charger off the night stand in the middle of the night. Without moving my watch.

He's very talented.

And it only works one way, for some reason. Not voting for Harris = a vote for Trump, but not voting for Trump ^= a vote for Harris.

The American Dream adage of "you can be rich if you work hard" serves only to convince the rich that they have worked hard.

A reminder that ICE was established in 2002, in the midst of an earlier bout of anti-brown-people panic.

It's been around for less than 24 years. Its existence isn't a law of nature.

Tearing it down is the bare minimum. Anything less is collaboration.
Ah yes, I see senate Dems have gone from "abolish ICE!" to "well actually ICE is pretty great, as long as it's pointed at *those people* and they're wearing ID while they brutalize them. Also somehow they'll obey all of this despite covering up murders."

Expected yet still disappointing.
Word is from NBC that instructions from Mr. Schumer to his caucus are: “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.” 1/ www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...

Data: homeless kids are disproportionately LGBTQ

Labour: it's not disproportionate enough
"The guidance states that where a child requests action from a school in relation to “any degree” of social transition, schools should speak to parents “as a matter of priority” and encourage the child to speak to their parents."

This will get people killed. 🤬

Heads up, folks!

My settings haven't changed but it wouldn't hurt to check yours.

And if you don't have this setting checked already:

You like what you're posting - so make sure everyone has access to it.
FUCK! Bluesky fucked with my accessibility settings. I had alt text on that, then deleted/reselected the photo and lost it. I should not have been able to poast! 🤬

Noticed it when I went to poast this color-corrected version.

Check your accessibility settings, just in case.

Fourteen years ago I wrote a sonnet sequence. THE POET TO HER YOUNG COMRADES about the coming of Fascism, and some possible futures. It gives me no pleasure that I was Cassandra.

My therapist was the first person I interacted with regularly who never saw me in boymode. Right from the start, I'd go as me, getting more confident each time. Early on in the process, I stopped on the way for a coffee, which was my first time in a straight space.
I took a traditional path to transition. I found a therapist and started going. She never pushed me in a direction, had me talk mostly. At a point I asked to come dressed as me. I would take pre-appointment pictures and I was always smiling bring myself. Egg Anne was a cutie. I'd give her a hug.

And I still haven't used the #caturday tag.

About time I changed that, yes?

Every clueless "ally" and every trans woman in the country has had the same conversation:

CA: You're trans?
TW: Yes
CA: Do you watch RuPaul's Dr-
TW: NO
every time there is an event organized in this town that says it’s raising money to support trans people, but isn’t organized by a trans person, it *always* features a drag show

Every single peraon involved, at any level, should go on trial. I want to see Nuremberg II.

"Disband ICE" is the bare-minimum, centrist position. Anything short of that is collaboration.
