I was finishing up a grad program in London at the beginning of 2020 and I remember reports of the fish in the Thames going into withdrawals and becoming notably aggressive because with the lockdowns and the clubs closed, there was less cocaine in the wastewater.

I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

Just so people outside of MN know - a lot of the US citizens getting “arrested” by ICE never get processed at Whipple. They are roughed up during the arrest and then often dropped off miles from where they were picked up. It means we don’t know the true scale of what ICE is doing based on ICE stats
