I think that her being a white woman "mouthing off" to him is part of the trigger. He already likely felt "disrespected" by her wife earlier. To me, this explains some white people's "she had it coming" attitude. How DARE a white woman not submit to his authority? He had to put her in her place.

Found another perfectly sized for me tuxedo jacket at the bins and I am seriously considering making tuxedo jackets a standard part of my punky looks.
I also have that J Crew tux I picked up a few years ago that I should tailor. The pants are much too long on me but the jacket and waist fit well.

I’d also say Sailor Moon Cosmos is a perfect watch for a 90s fan. I know people had quibbles with it but I uh, hate Crystal and Cosmos was perfect.
