I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

Probably won’t see this in mainstream media - aka the right wing press - coz it’s against their narrative. Wind energy in Britain broke a new record last week with nearly 23GW on the grid one cold windy evening. That was 56% of all electricity on Britain’s grid.

“For too long, soil has been treated as dirt. However, it is the living skin of the planet. Every handful of healthy, living soil is a microcosm of life and a storehouse of carbon and water.”
How soil could be the secret weapon to meet climate targets
Despite being one of the largest natural carbon sinks, most nations exclude soil from their climate plans.

This should be the future for all countries but China are bossing it. Cancelling HS2 after B'ham has to be one of the biggest mistakes/own goals governments have made. By now we should have high speed trains to the South West & Scotland with interconnecting routes easing up lines for freight 🚆
Last week a new pilot high speed freight service with trains operating up to 350kph began between Guangzhou and Wuhan. High speed freight services have been running on a trial basis across China with services between Kunming-Chengdu, Zhengzhou-Chongqing, Nanchang-Shenzhen etc.

Iconic sign from St Mary’s Church next to Whitby Abbey. I love that people think Bram Stoker’s Dracula was a real person/vampire who lived and died in Whitby.

We need videos from optical gas imaging cameras for CO₂ emissions.
What you see without an OGI camera vs what you see with an OGI camera.

What you are seeing in a plume of methane and VOCs.

You can see how it is so easy for them to ignore the ongoing systemic methane pollution.
