Weekly Podcast: Zerocarbonista
The best thing to do is ban all donations and publicly fund our politics. The cost is tiny in the scheme of things, the outcome would be politics without the suspicion.

If you’re dreaming of a White Christmas - dream on. Snow is fast becoming a thing of the past in Britain.

Keir Starmer, Doctor Dolittle? or Doctor do nothing - if you read right wing media and politicians. ....He’s actually Doctor just done a lot - for animals, wild and farmed.

Lots to be shocked about here. One, there are people in this world that think nothing of boiling animals alive. Two, they are up in arms at this change in the law. Three, they claim it’s an attack on their heritage. It’s the end of a barbaric practice is what it is.

Turkey Basting…..

But not as you know it. This is how Turkeys are made. If you put Turkey in your mouth this xmas, spare a thought not just for the Turkey - but for the guys whose mouth was there before you.

Climate induced migration - is not just for people. Mediterranean octopi have taken over the coast of Devon and Cornwall… or so it seems based on the fact that local fishermen have caught (killed) 233,000 of them.

Together For Palestine dreamt big and tried to get this beautiful and vital song to be our Xmas no1. Missed by not much, let’s give it a push to get it to No1 for the New Year. Free Palestine.

Further steps in the creeping invasion and occupation of Palestine and the ethic cleansing of that country. This is a decades long operation - a slow motion land grab and crime against humanity and international law.

These people, the Tories and Reform have no principles other than one - to gain power. One minute they are enemies, maybe in the next they merge - for the sole reason that they cannot win alone and winning is all that matters.

Our economic system is broken, the rules of the game were written by rich people for rich people. Inequality is growing and it’s no good to rich and poor alike. We need new rules.

I’m helping the CJC fund their work in 2026 -  after a year of attacks by lawyers working for a foreign state - aka UKLFI. These shady lawyers, under investigation I hear for ‘malpractice’ have an MO, they intimidate anyone that speaks out for Palestine.

Ecotalk became the talk of one Yorkshire town after a mobile blackout caused local chaos and made the Times newspaper. Ecotalk stepped in….the local postie spread the word telling people “you won’t believe how many letters I’m delivering to new Ecotalk customers”.

Energy bills, electric car bans, banks behaving badly, and the climate crisis - have we lived through it before? The Swiss Army Beaver, Netanyahu and anti semitism, Dale in the eye of the storm. And June Sarpong.

I think people that are scared of beavers are the people that like to manage the land completely as if it's a garden. Farmers and  people that breed birds for game shooting and all that kind of stuff.

The height of stupidity, that’s what this is. Populism is one thing, but it usually has at least a grain of truth in it - this has none.

Barbados PM, Mia Mottley, has it right. The climate crisis is moving at pace. We need to act, need to do more. Cutting methane from oil and gas is one of the fastest ways we could slow the warming of the planet.

I’m not a fan of chicken obvs, but this story highlights the imbalance of our tax system, we pay VAT for the privilege of eating, but not flying. And what of hot in-flight meals, how do they escape the takeaway tax...:)

Great announcements, designed to win customers - but are they honest? In the same month that the budget did reduce energy bills by around 150 quid a year - a new nuclear tax appeared on energy bills - of roughly the same value.
