The BBC is ours. It's ours to love. Ours to criticise. Ours to shout at when we feel in the mood.
And if Farage thinks that the way to win favour with voters is to stand around cheering as Trump takes down the BBC for $1 billion of personal enrichment then he's a bigger fool than anyone thought.

Three people who’d be expected to be Your Party bigwigs have largely walked away from Corbyn’s project: former NE mayor Jamie Driscoll, former Labour MP Beth Winter, and former ANC MP Andrew Feinstein.

This is why it was so important to make key decisions at the Budget last year.
If the two-child cap is removed, it can only be done because we have stable public finances.
Ironic that Tories had to bring in in 2017 because they didn't have the money to fund, even after austerity!

NEW: Rachel Reeves signals she intends to remove the two-child cap *in full*
"I don't think a child should be penalised because they're in a bigger family through no fault of their own," she tells BBC.

Philosophical question:
If there were 10 doors in front of you and the person in front kept holding each open for you:
A) How many different ways would you say thank you each time (Door 1: Cheers, Door 2: thanks)
B) At what door would you stop because it just feels awkward?

The reason I was so critical of Tim Davie and the bias towards the Tories and Reform in recent times is because I desperately want and need the BBC to thrive and succeed.
The right wing want the BBC to fail.
The independence of the BBC must be protected against authoritarians.

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

Incidentally, I don't think I notice a black person at that event, other than Aurora. And this is the second time recently she gets booed at one of their pressers.
Mhari Aurora asks a pretty fair question, is booed by the crowd and told off by Dear Leader. Then Noa Hoffman, lobs a dogwhistle soft ball about making "our high streets beautiful again", not "covered in illegal migrant vape shops," to great applause.

Because for the privileged Green Party supporters, who can be morally hard left but don't actually require a Labour Government, ideological purity is far more important.
