This is bleak: Jes Staley, currently CEO of Barclays, reassuring Epstein that popular revolt against financial elites is unlikely because capitalism and pop culture have defanged social movements, leaving people more invested in consumption than justice.

I think this is an important read
I hate to say this but I think things are just going to keep getting increasingly chaotic and morally shocking before this tidal wave of sadism finally recedes

Its important to identify for yourself what moral injury (as witnesses & those coerced) feels like and how to recognize its after effects

Crank convergence is such a waste of the infinite potential of the human spirit; Naomi Wolf shouldn't be running third-tier Stop the Steal derivatives, she should be chronicling how the Catholic Church suppressed the memory of the Primordial Feminine Goddess and trying to translate Linear A.
Bill Ackman's fund, Pershing Square, manages 18 billion dollars for wealthy clients, billions of it for the Harvard Endowment

Anyways here he is uncritically eating up conspiracy slop from Naomi Wolf about stolen NYC elections

some good news buried among the horrible behavior listed:

“The third woman said federal agents at her hotel are subsisting on microwavable bowls of Campbell’s chicken noodle soup, because it’s become so difficult for them to find restaurants willing to serve them.”
I visited hotels all over Minneapolis, went into back rooms & talked to the staff.

They're afraid.

One told me she resents how her undocumented coworkers spend their days cleaning the rooms of agents who are “hunting down their family members.”
