If you are married to a US spouse, your temporary visa (usually for 3 months) will lapse before your case is processed. The government allowed you could stay in the US while awaiting case processing. Now the Trump admin is saying that is a visa overstay and arresting the spouses.

Dear Post-evangelical, Ex-Fundie, Deconstructed people of frayed Jesus faith: if you really miss the start of Advent, find yourself a Mainline church to visit/watch online. Yes, it has organs, unfamiliar hymns, and many elders. But they will likely not make you feel guilty or reject your gay kids.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

This again brings up the idea of elder abuse. Whoever is putting Grandpa up to this (again) is decidedly not doing their best for the patient.
Imagine having no idea what your job is when you did it for 4 years 4 years ago.
