World Cup considerations.
I am absolutely dreading the impact on this for us to get hotel space when my daughter has to be at BC children's Hospital during that time and no inventory for the subsidized spaces families rely on when their sick child outside the lower mainland needs to be in Van for care.

My favorite crocodilian, the Smooth-Fronted Caiman. These little guys live in smaller streams and hills in the rainforest, and have a lot of attitude for such a little guy. This one had no trouble at all letting my camera lens know who's boss when it got a little too close.

Something, something elbows…
MDA Space has signed a contract with the United States’ Missile Defense Agency, which operates through the US Department of War, to potentially help with President Donald Trump’s “Golden Dome” initiative.

Pining for the shah is not great, but bad times.

Saw the shah’s mausoleum in Egypt! Exciting!
Massive crowds are now filling the streets in Iran, also in the city of Mashhad.

“This is the last battle, Pahlavi will return,” they chant.

That’s not what “epicentre” means.

Vancouver is hosting 7 of the 104 games, none after the round of 16.

It will be a big thing.

There will likely be a lot of bigger things happening.

Setting aside the long term viability of that strategy, at what point do you start to sound insane when people are watching armed government gangsters running wild every day and the local candidate is smiling into the camera and talking about groceries
Recent statements from political strategists and Democratic Party insiders seem to suggest that the party’s strategy for the 2026 midterm races — particularly in hotly contested swing districts — will be to focus on economic concerns rather than on holding President Donald Trump accountable.
Polls Undercut Dem Strategy to Avoid Discussing Trump Impeachment in Midterms
Democratic strategists are telling swing district candidates to focus on the economy and to avoid discussing Trump.

I was made aware of this possible attack vector last night and was kindly informed that we could be vulnerable to it on our landing page. As soon as I was made aware I turned off our landing page till it could be tested. All PDS operations are still operational, but the landing page is down for now.
Be aware that there are accounts attempting to steal session keys. This particular method won’t work using the Bluesky app for a couple of reasons, but third party apps may be vulnerable to similar attempts.

We will attempt to automatically label these as Platform Manipulation.

Billy Van as Grizelda.
Puppeteer Joe Torbay wrote,
“He was a joy to work with. Both cast and crew adored him, looking forward to the breaks in taping to hear his many jokes and anecdotes, told as only he could tell them.”
Through the 1970s, he appeared in several American variety shows.
