The black hole was identified through timing the A-type star's pulsation, which detects back and forth motion. Like RV, the true mass of the unseen object is not known. However, the extremely high eccentricity does constrain the mass strongly.

Absolutely none of them top this paper on BE Lyncis finding that it is in an EXTREMELY eccentric orbit with a black hole though.

BE Lyncis: An Extremely Eccentric Binary with the Nearest Known Black Hole
We report the discovery of an exceptionally eccentric binary system, BE Lyncis (BE Lyn), which hosts the nearest known black hole (BH) to Earth. Through the analysis of $\textit{TESS}$ photometry comb...

The Occurrence Rate of Nearby Planetary Companions to Hot Jupiters
Of the > 500 confirmed transiting hot jupiters and approximately 2000 additional candidates today, only ten are known to have nearby companion planets. The survival of nearby companions means that the...

A bit more Worldbuilding Content; now including a few of the WIP ships that haven't got a rebuild yet but are good enough to hold up at a distance on a chart. Some of the missing ones are just no longer good fits for the setting or so old that they can't even be used as placeholders.

fun fact there's currently a bug in Space Engine where the mass for Wolf-Rayet stars has no upper limit, in some cases leading to ridiculous (unrealistic) stars massing thousands of times that of the Sun. this particular example is an impressive 10,849 solar masses

The GMH has a lot more territory to control than most inner system polities and relies on solar-thermal and solar-electric carriers and boost stages to extend the range of their warships.

These spacecraft often use O2 as propellant; volatiles are scarce down here and best used sparingly.
