In the wake of what Judge Dugan did (100% legal), now is a good time for everyone to know what she knows:

An immigration or administrative warrant is *not* a judicial warrant. You are not obliged to obey it. Indeed, you can let the person out the back door. docs.google.com/presentation...

😔 I am so sad that I never got to visit the National African American museum before now

It was always sold out by the time I looked for tickets…

A reminder to do all the things now

NYU didn’t address the incident for several hours. Elected officials quick to condemn antisemitism have said nothing.

Never forget that France made Haiti pay THEM to compensate slave owners who lost their slaves. It cost $30 billion and it took Haiti 122 years to pay off.
"The 2020 compensation deal is a cruel irony. Zimbabwe, already bankrupt, must now borrow billions to pay former colonial beneficiaries, hoping to escape a punitive law imposed in response to its land reform programme...a nation forced to finance its subjugation, while its people suffer."
Reverse reparations: Zimbabwe’s perfect trap, South Africa’s looming danger
Land reform is not a threat, but a demand for justice. The global community must treat it as such.

1. On Tuesday, voters rejected anti-trans ads, Elon Musk by electing Susan Crawford to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

It was supposed to be close. She won by 10 points.

Dems do NOT need to throw trans people under the bus to win.

Tyrants view educated citizens as their greatest enemy.

Slaveholders stopped the enslaved from learning to read. Nazis burned books. Dictators censor media.

That’s why Trump is attacking education, science, museums, and the arts – to prevent us from learning.

It's Fascism 101.

This is a straight up North Korea state sanctioned hairstyle proposed law for youth.

The bill would allow anyone to sue someone who affirms a young person's transition, and it specifically mentions hairstyles.

Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
