I think you’d be better served telling your friends. Democrats are going to line up behind whoever the party wants, that has been made clear for decades now. Get your friends to start liking AOC. She is the Dem coalition compromise candidate. Not perfect for everyone but will win resoundingly.

The reason I argue so strongly against those pushing the "lesser evil argument" is that I myself have used it out of desperation to try and avoid any Trump presidency.

That's not the demoralization. Let's say you're a voter who need insulin to live, and 1 of the 2 stores in town tells you to go die & the other is saying they don't have it, they're not going to get it, and asking for it is selfish but to shop there anyway. A lot of people are just waiting to die.
