Ngl anyone who thinks Trump is stupid is still falling for it. He’s a puppet. He doesn’t make any of these decisions, he just sells them and stalls for time while they take effect. These choices are calculated to achieve a specific goal - to crash the economy, so it can be bought up for cheap.

When someone gets called out for poor behavior and starts talking about death threats I always struggle to really take it seriously because like… threats of bodily harm are just a daily reality of existing on the internet as a woman of any visibility at all.
Always surprised how many folk on social media are unaware that highly visible women online regularly get threatened w/ rape and other violence. Happens to every woman w/ a substantial following I know, has for a decade regardless of platform. And no, authorities don’t care and that’s no solution.
