a) run candidates in every damned district.

b) districts that were Trump +25 are meaningfully in play and they won't be able to fight for all of them all at once.

c) they're diluting their OWN districts b/c of gerrymandering.

d) being aggressively liberal is not a downside even in R+25 districts.

Fellas, is it good news for Republicans that they’re losing local races in 75% white suburbs of Atlanta?
My Atlanta suburb of Roswell, Georgia had a special election today for mayor.

Democrat Mary Robichaux toppled incumbent Republican Kurt Wilson’s overfunded/underwhelming GOP reelection effort. 👏👏👏

This bodes well for us all 2026. 🤞

TPUSA have been at this long enough that the default assumption of their involvement in literally anything that has to do with college campuses should be an assumption of bad faith based on a long and well-documented history of bad faith actions
Assumption of good faith is a solid heuristic.

But also "assumptions" are guesses you make before you have the evidence. You are allowed to retract good faith once more evidence arises.

But also, you shouldn't assume good faith from folks who are your avowed enemies.

“everyone is twelve” theory has reached Senator Kelly
Kelly: He runs around on stage talking about lethality and the warrior ethos.. That’s not the message that should be coming from the Secretary of Defense… He runs around on a stage like he’s a 12 year old playing army. It’s embarrassing.

I think the closest analogue to the Marjorie Taylor Greene/Tucker Carlson/Candace Owens movement is the Anti-Masonic party of the Jacksonian era: they may accidentally walk backwards into correct beliefs (Jackson/Trump is bad) but the underlying worldview is still absurd and dangerous

The idea that Trump won on the trans ad was always bullshit, the idea that trans issues was a clear GOP winner was complete bullshit, and it's infuriating that anyone would entertain the tactic of throwing trans people under the bus for even half of a second
"When we look at opinion polls about what actually motivates voters and their choices at the ballot box, trans issues are often dead last. And it’s worth noting that much of that polling makes no distinction between positive or negative views of trans rights." www.liberalcurrents.com/trans-panic-...

Anyone know how many German and/or Japanese commanders ended up with long prison sentences for this specific crime?
In college, I had to read the Department of Defense’s Law of War manual.

I kid you not when I tell you that firing at the shipwrecked is quite literally provided as an example of an illegal order.

Very Louis XVI-coded. Wants all the respect, grandeur and riches of the office, does not want any of the responsibility, more obsessed with golf and watching TV (Trump's version of what hunting and locksmithing was for Louis) and extremely susceptible to manipulation by any given advisor in the room
trump is the president in the sense that he holds the office but he very clearly isn't the president in the sense that he has basically relieved himself of its duties
Trump’s echo chamber:

Very little U.S travel

No rallies or contact with supporters

Right-wing media

Dinners with rich donors and billionaires

this is at least the second time he’s claimed he doesn’t know anything about a pardon he has ostensibly signed, and i feel like that’s two times too many without a follow up question from the press corpse
talking to reporters last night, Trump claimed of Hegseth's double tap strike that "I don't know anything about it," then moments later claimed "I don't who you're talking about" when asked his plan to pardon the former Honduran president

We must keep calling out those that cave to the Trump Admin, and the latest is Northwestern.

As part of their "deal," NU will pay $75 million, stop vital research, renege on agreements with its students over the war in Gaza, and more.

Throwing your students under the bus to please Trump. Shameful.
