Fam, I’m so proud of this one: the first comprehensive empirical study of disability in law school. Did you know 20% of law students have disabilities? And while they outperform their peers on engagement, they need more institutional support. Learn about their backgrounds, behaviors & experiences👇
📢 The 2025 LSSSE Annual Report is here!

This year, we focus on the experiences of law students with disabilities—their strengths, challenges, and the ways they enrich legal education.

Extremely messed up, racist, and will destroy science as we know it. This would literally destroy the careers of most US-born researchers I know, in addition to all the foreign-born scientists. Every paper Ive been on has had coauthors from prohibited countries and I have learned so much from them.
“The prohibited activities would include joint research, co-authorship on papers, and advising a foreign graduate student or postdoctoral fellow. The language is retroactive, meaning any interactions during the previous 5 years could make a scientist ineligible for future federal funding.”

This is not weird, just basic Gen X.

Yes, I’ve done them all. And nobody was watching.
I have never done (9) (it's anti-social), (13) (Blockbuster never operated in my country), or (20) (those things were *expensive*).

I am teh oldz.

The Law School Survey of Student Engagement released its 2025 report, Disability in Law School. Among many helpful findings: 1/5 students report having a disability. This serves as an important counter to what NALP has found (1-2% in offices/firms). Well done, @meeradeo.bsky.social!

“No university leader or trustee can truthfully say that it fulfills their fiduciary responsibility to sign their school up for this.”

Whereas rejecting the compact—even simply by doing nothing—is an opportunity for all of higher ed.
