Maybe it’s just the Humanities professor in me, but let it be noted that events of today (ahem) have demonstrated the value of being able to assess a large volume of qualitative data and do careful textual analysis with deep attention to context.

Seems like @aaron.bsky.team et al should be able to give Sarah an answer since they explicitly say in the TOS what circumstances allow them to suspend someone:

Manifesting this!
Almost five months to the day after returning to Cancer in June to begin a new 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion and a major year for new beginnings, the planet of luck and expansion has come to a standstill ahead of his retrograde turn tomorrow. #Cancer

Marjorie Taylor Greene is psychotic. Nothing’s changed. Her so-called turn around into some degraded form of humanity is calculated to distract. She is MAGA. We should rub her face in the shit she has said and the havoc she has wrought for the rest of her miserable fucking life. No mercy. None.

can't even pull out a favorite part til I sign my separation letter lol, just read the whole thing.

“Teaching” Trouillot tomorrow and we should just read it out loud line by line. I’m not teaching it. I’m just marveling at the language and his brilliance. It’s hard to teach something when every time someone says something about it you just shake your head and scream, “right?!”

Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein is gorgeous. Lots to think about and I’ll need to see it again. It’s not a perfect film but I could not take my eyes off the screen. He is a masterful director.

So so so excited I saw the exhibit before it closed!
"Olaudah Equiano (1745-1797), AKA Gustavus Vassa, escaped enslavement to become a celebrated author & campaigner in Georgian England. His memoir, The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano, or Gustavus Vassa, the African, was a bestseller."

He was featured in the #Superfine exhibit.

I don’t know my neighbors, and I don’t wanna know my neighbors, really. They have expressed no interest in knowing me either. I have no idea what languages they speak. All I know is during the winter time we try to shovel each other‘s walkway.
Vance says it is "totally reasonable and acceptable" for people to not want to live next door to people who speak a different language than they do
