Over 125 economists signed the open letter calling on the President, Congress, and the American public to uphold the principles of Federal Reserve independence and not remove Lisa Cook without due process.

There's still time to sign! And please share.

Marika Cabral & I just finished our “Successfully Navigating Your PhD” workshop for women/non-binary PhD students in health econ and health policy. This was the 5th workshop I’ve done (and the 2nd one with Marika focused on health)—I learn something each time! Thank you to the mentors and students!

This is awesome! My own health econ course draws inspiration from both Matt and Tal—Matt generously shared a syllabus with me many years ago and Tal sent me his problem sets. Super excited that they’ve now teamed up to write a book to encourage more students of health economics!
I wrote a book with Tal Gross!

"Better Health Economics: An Introduction for Everyone"

If you want to hear me discuss some of the material from the book, come to the ASSA continuing education session Jan 7-9 (I’ll be including some of the material from my book in my Health Economics lectures)
