And Karoline Leavitt said this *after* welcoming the despicable Riley Gaines to the briefing room as a “new media” representative.

Riley evidently is better at tossing out softballs than she was at swimming.
Reporter: Renee Good was shot in the head and killed by an ICE Agent.

Leavitt: Why was she killed?

Reporter: Because an ICE agent acted recklessly and killed her unjustifiably

Leavitt: You’re a left-wing hack. You’re not a reporter.

The midtown Costco needs to stay as it is. Changing to a business center would make food, prescriptions and other essential goods more expensive and harder to find for many Kansas City residents.

Nearly every year has that magical day known as Aaron Rodgers Goes Away Day. It’s always a special, joyous occasion, something to celebrate with the family and friends.

But this year’s Aaron Rodgers Goes Away Day might be the most special of all.

Especially, goddamn, after that bumbling pick six.

When will city and state leaders learn that their new sports venue will not magically increase tax revenues?
This week, the Kansas City Chiefs announced they were relocating to the state of Kansas for a brand-new $3B stadium. The term sheet agreed upon by the team and state is outlandish. Joe Pompliano (who is one of the best at sports business news) has gone over the term sheet and claims it is the “Most Lopsided Stadium Deal In NFL History” thanks to $1.8 billion in taxpayer money being included. But the details of many important parts of the deal are still unknown. For example, we still don't know where the new stadium will be located. In a recent press conference, the Chiefs president claimed that the team will decide later on the location. The look of the stadium? The look of the entertainment district around the stadium? Nothing. Heck, the team hasn't even hired an architect. Yet, even with plenty of details still left unanswered, I found it odd that I continued to see the governor of Kansas go from media outlet to media outlet claiming that taxpayers somehow were protected with this deal.

I wish Kansas City would have this kind of public transit service when it wasn't hosting the World Cup.
I met today with KC2026 Transportation Director Jason Sims to preview ConnectKC26, Kansas City’s transit plan for the FIFA World Cup 2026™. With 215 buses serving 15 locations every 20 minutes and extended match-day hours, Kansas City is ready to keep fans moving.

My dad was not a baseball fan, but Carl Yastrzemski was his favorite ballplayer. Why? Yaz briefly attended Notre Dame before signing with the Red Sox, and that all that my dad (N.D. Class of '44) needed to know.
Carl Yastrzemski‘s 1968 Topps Baseball Card. That season Yaz led the AL in Hitting .301, Walks 119, OBP .426, OPS .922, OPS+ 171 and WAR 10.5, while hitting 23 HR’s, with 74 RBI’s. He won his 3rd Batting Title, made his 5th AS Team and won his 4th Gold Glove.

If you receive an illegal order, you have a duty to disobey.

This isn’t controversial.

A President calling for the execution of anyone who reminds service members of this oath is showing us why the duty to disobey illegal orders is so important in the first place.

There is no more apt a metaphor for our country today.
President began demolishing the East Wing of the WH to build there his $200M+ ballroom.

East Wing was built in 1942 during the presidency of FDR. It was constructed to cover the bunker that he used during WWII and the President's Emergency Operations Center.
