Final reading list for my AI course follows, week by week. UC summer sessions are 5 weeks, compressed from the 10 week regular quarter (already short). So, teaching Comm/Media undergrads an upper division class on this, during the summer of the constantly moving AI needle was… a challenge. Still:

More/better training and body cams will not fix this. I wish lawmakers would stop putting their faith and energies into those distractions from the real problem, which is that ICE and DHS must be abolished. That's the bare minimum here.

Half the battle with this guy is just reiterating government can and already does good things that are so ubiquitous they’ve become invisible. He’s able to remind you in a way that you understand that good government can exist outside of a 24/7 vengeance operation, and in NYC already does.

Unless folks want to go the violent route (and frankly, friends, we're vastly outgunned so don't get ideas), we're not getting revolution no matter how many people say defiant things in public unless those words actually get our politicians to do something.
I will believe the revolution is at hand when everyone collectively figures out that Congress is the center of the government and starts relentlessly bugging the crap out of them until they yield or resign.
