The problem was that Ukraine didn’t agree to Trump’s plan of “surrender and let Putin slaughter everyone.”

Trump has not delivered on his promise to voters to quickly end Russia's war; he is a loser and will hopefully be punished in the midterms.

So in 2026, the USPS will no longer process mail as it comes in. It will process mail when they feel like it. So they can deliver a letter or a package a month later. The Convicted FElon is doing this to prevent mail-in voting without outlawing it. He doesn't want the Democrats to win the Midterms.

I suspect this is part of the opposing reaction from older generations to… so many things. Young people are breaking the seal on some memories that were carefully locked away, buried, and then covered with cement
I think sometimes we underestimate just how much the Don Draper strategy of "forget about this, put it away and pretend it never happened" was the primary coping strategy most people had for generations.

Gives me hope too. We’ve been calling for Trump supporters to defect. When a prominent one (MTG) does, what do we do? Bash her because she didn’t immediately become a progressive, question her motives, and ignore the reality that people dont risk the threats she has received for a political stunt.

fwiw, personally, i am still masking because instead of getting sick several times per year, and missing out on a bunch of fun stuff because of how badly it fucks me up, i have been sick twice in the last six years, am in considerably less discomfort, and miss way less fun stuff. 🤷🏼♀️
Bring back the idea that there's stuff it's rude to ask people about and none of your business (why are you masking, why aren't you drinking, etc.)
Also, never ask someone why they're wearing a mask! Just don't! You're not entitled to people's health info!

Pro tip: when someone makes a post about how excited they are to finish a project that took them 3 years and in that post, they detail just how much time and material has already gone into the project...
