Discrimination on the basis of “nationality” is as morally reprehensible as discrimination on the basis of skin colour and if the human race properly evolves one day it will be seen as such. Just because it’s been thoroughly normalised and accepted in international law doesn’t make it morally ok.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Harris today: “I’m really quite shocked and taken aback by how reluctant politicians in our national parliament are to discuss migration."

It would be one thing having a "debate" on immigration if people meant they wanted a "debate" based on facts. But what most people seem to mean when they say they want a debate is that is they want us to pretend a bunch of entirely made up bullshit is true.

This was probably the biggest climate demonstration in Ireland since 2019-2020!

A huge Green Party turnout at the National Climate March today to call on the government to stop the U-turns and get serious about climate action, nature restoration and ending fossil fuels.

*Still* waiting for Simon Harris to actually condemn the Drogheda arson attack where the far right tried to kill children & their parents.

Tánaiste & leader of FG, yet still hasn't done the bare minimum in pushing back against the far right. Just decides to keep whinging about "the left" instead 🙄
Tánaiste Simon Harris has said Labour TD Conor Sheehan calling him a populist is an attempt from the left to “caricature” him and “shut me down”. jrnl.ie/6875778
Simon Harris says the left are ‘trying to caricature me’ on migration
Labour TD Conor Sheehan said he believes the Tánaiste is ‘quite populist’.

Of the many reasons to go organic re agriculture and horticulture, is that these chemicals are dangerous to manufacture, to transport, to store, to apply and to consume.
Same for fossil fuels.
We tend to only look at post-use environmental effects. But the risks are many long before that.
Video shows the moment of a massive explosion at an industrial park in Argentina. The blast happened at warehouses housing agricultural chemicals. At least 22 people were injured.

Disgusting, looks like garden landscaping from 2005.

There are smaller parks in the middle of central London with more green space, natural growth, & less anti homeless architecture.

RIP Bishop Lucey Park
Only green space in city centre is no longer a green space
Seriously how did this cost €7million?
Its depressing & says Cork says f*ck biodiversity & climate
Ironically the one redeeming feature is that the railings & gates are gone to make it thoroughfare

Simon Harris has suddenly used “the left” as a dismissive boogeyman three times in a handful of weeks (that I’m aware of) and if I were a journalist I’d be questioning the reasoning behind that a bit more than they are

This is a story deserving of more media attention 😟

Bird flu is an ecological disaster with consequences for animals, and people potentially. The way the capitalist system treats chickens and other domesticated foul is abhorrent - we’re asking for trouble.

Those claiming Dems should retreat on racial justice aren't hard-headed realists, they're pushing against the electoral tide rather than leaning into it. The story of Gen Z isn't about racist backlash or red-pilled young men. It's the most racially progressive generation in American history. 🧵

Thatcher's government did this with Section 28, banned the "promotion of homosexuality" as a danger to children, while actively protecting Jimmy Savile and who knows how many other pedophiles. It's the same damn playbook.
I cannot begin to properly articulate how upsetting it is to have had people baselessly accuse trans people of being groomers and pedophiles only for it to come out that they were deliberately doing this as part of a project to provide cover to actual groomers and pedophiles in positions of power
