If, like me, you did NOT get the ONE thing you wanted from Santy (a 95-year-old bachelor farmer with plenty land and a bad cough), treat yourself to a print from an Irish doodler instead - big discounts across the shop, including on bundles, so go on. Go on go on go ON.

They've never actually killed any foxes themselves, they are a separate political entity to foxhunters, they just reject the politics of condemnation
Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald has doubled down on her party's pro-fox hunting position, despite some internal criticism.

Mary Lou McDonald says Sinn Féin's support of fox hunting is the right choice
The matter will be debated again at the party’s Ard Fheis in April.

Christmas in Kilmainham has Palestinian choir Banat al-Quds, the Daughters of Jerusalem, as well as an interview & footage of their destroyed Gaza music school where they continue to teach amputee children.

Imelda May performed in Palestinian dress & another singer wore a keffiyeh

Well done RTÉ 🇵🇸

The War Between the Land and the Sea is very good, as a #whoniverse show, & as a commentary on the complete neglect we have shown towards the planet & #ClimateAction.

The post credit scene is a perfect representation of how I feel about the lack of urgency.

Ok, 16 innocent people brutally killed in Bondi Beach attack – response is wall-to-wall global news coverage & condemnation.

Meanwhile, 400+ innocent people brutally killed by Israel *since* Oct “ceasefire” – response is near-total silence from world’s media.

Good news, berth appears to be operational at Holyhead.

The Irish Ferries vessel is leaving & they'll need to do another inspection of the berth before giving us the all clear to dock, hopefully within the hour. 🤞
I'm on the Stena Dub->Holyhead ferry & the captain has just told us that an Irish Ferries vessel ahead of us has damaged the only working berth in Holyhead port.

An engineer is inspecting the damage to the berth & we'll hopefully know soon how bad it is 😬
My ferry from Holyhead->Dub today was cancelled last night due to conditions, so I hoofed it up to Scotland to get the ferry to Belfast instead.

On a very rough crossing now with rollarcoaster like stomach lifts every few minutes.

All worth it to get back in time for Mícheál Martin's leaving do 😀

24hrs notice for a public meeting about an LNG terminal to "prevent misinformation"

Timmy Dooley is taking the people of Kildysart for fools.

Great piece by Sinéad Sheehan:
"LNG is considered by experts to be 33% more potent in terms of climate and environmental impacts compared to burning coal."

nice of the Taoiseach to just openly say he sees European "rearmament" as a business opportunity for Irish companies, saves me the trouble of having to persuade people that he wants to dismantle our neutrality so Irish companies can get a slice of the war racket
