"Gas snowblowers contribute to climate change and air pollution. US-EPA said an average two-stroke snowblower emits about 1 pound of carbon monoxide per hour—the same amount a driving a car 70 miles. Snowblowers also release nitrous oxides that warm the climate."

Just like his first presidency, President Donald Trump’s first calendar year back in the White House was an unceasing parade of LIES. In 2025, though, the variety of Trump’s false claims shrunk even as he maintained his trademark staggering frequency.

As a progressive climate change fighter, I get tired of fellow environmentalists spouting Oil Co propaganda that EVs are to expensive. The 2026 Nissan Leaf EV $26,000 vs 2025 Nissan Versa S $20,435, but the cost of charging (per mile) and repairs on EVs are less.

Science has made one thing clear: global heating is behind today’s extreme weather. That greenhouse gas emissions warmed the planet was understood. What can now be shown is that warming produces record heatwaves & more violent storms with increasing frequency.

"There’s no question about why the administration is doing what it’s doing. Project 2025 enforcer Russell Vought said NCAR must go because it's “one of the largest sources of climate alarmism in the country.” This is stupid—it’s like closing the fire depart. because it’s a source of “fire alarmism."

Great!

Even better considering the average American commuter drives roughly 28-30 miles a day, with some as high as 41-miles on average for all travel in a work day. Based on your mileage nearly everyone could drive an Ioniq to work and charge at home at night.
“WhAt AbOuT tHe BaTtErY?”

🤭

Another road trip, another 318 miles GOM for a four year old IONIQ 5 that still charges faster than anything new in the segment, and hits that range in top trim with AWD. Well, approx 300 miles.

Love great stuff!

I just visited the NV Dem's BlueSky account and could not help but notice that there has not been a single post in 2025 -- Is anyone home?
As I reflect on this past year, our community has been through so much — from service members being impacted by the federal shutdown to thousands of families going without food assistance. And yet, we made it through by coming together and supporting one another.

Great job NV Dems, you've gone almost a whole year without a single post. As a loyal NV Democrat, I hope you get it together in 2026.

Happy Holidays.

@alexisfornevada.com What is your climate action plan? How are you going to incentivize Nevadans to get out of old fossil fuel jalopies? How will you incentivize solar and wind power?

Fixing streets by taxing EVs is not the answer.
This year, gift yourself a future of fixed streets, funded schools, and a Nevada where all of our loved ones are safe, healthy, and happy. Sign up to volunteer for Alexis and help us build a Nevada for everyone. alexisfornevada.com/engage/

In a world facing an unprecedented Climate Crisis, why would anyone think that cutting down a living tree from a forest ravaged by a wildfire just a year ago and burning fossil fuel to ship it on trucks and cargo planes across the country is a good thing?

Shame.
From the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest to the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, Silver Belle is a shining symbol of Nevada’s natural beauty and resilience, and we’re honored to have our state represented here in the nation’s capital for the first time.
