City of Reno's "FY25 Fleet Replacement Program" for 59 new vehicles included 3 EVs, 5 hybrids, 18 police fossil fuel cars, 3 other gas cars & light trucks. Given the average police officer drives 40 to 80 miles per shift & the average EV range is 250 to 300 miles this is a huge missed opportunity!

Solar panel shade structures over parking lots are a win-win for everyone:
1-Protect and keep cars cool
2-Sustainable electricity generation (and pays for installation)
3-Land use, uses space more efficiently
4-Creates jobs
We need a State and National laws to make this happen.

Mine does pass gas stations, even when I'm going off road in the Nevada desert. And, it is a dual motor with 665 hp.
