Galway Co co only has 5 properties registered as derelict, so handing it over to revenue is useless. We need to register the properties first! Or there's no tax to levy.

While it's great we've had 3 female presidents we're still way behind most of Europe for female representation in government national and local.

Dunguaire castle has now been closed for two years. Shannon development handed over its castles to the county councils. Bunratty a seemless handover to Clare co co. St. John's castle a seemless handover to limerick co co. Both continue to operate.

Galway county council has only 4 properties on the derelict register!! There's more than 4 derelict properties in every street of every village & town in the county. It's ridiculous, they're not even bothering to register them. I reported one on the appropriate form, got nothing back, no follow up.

Making cassis. Highly recommend. 1/3 blackcurrants to 1/3 sugar to 1/3 brandy for 3 months in a jar in the dark. Then strain, and leave a further 3 months. Ready for Christmas. Add to prosecco, drizzle over ice cream or cakes, or have as a hot toddy.

Dereliction in a housing crisis in the centre of Galway city. In this case owned by the council who went for planning in 2022. And then what happened? Why is it still derelict 3 years later? Dereliction is a form of vandalism. This site/ houses should be housing families.
