I think re: art in video games that often the big games are *platforms* for art. Like there's art going on everywhere in a game, but then l like ~~Art~~ happens on the platform of the substrate of the game. Like is a museum Art? I mean maybe, but it *contains* and *presents* art.

Had a dream a while back in which I discovered the existence of the "Grave of the Fireflies/Super Mario World 2-in-1" for the Wii. It basically functioned as a DVD except for a "special features" section that literally only had an SNES emulator playing Mario World. It went for absurd prices on eBay

I’ll never quite understand nostalgia of high school and adolescence but maybe that’s because I’ve led just the coolest life possible as an adult and didn’t particularly enjoy the years when I didn’t have autonomy
