Normalize running monstrous adults like this out of youth sports. They genuinely believe the only way to coach is via fear, violence, and abuse. Even worse are school administrators that insulate them from facing accountability for their tyranny.

The amount of bad coaching in youth sports is higher than you think. This shit hits home for me because I had good coaches and bad coaches during my time playing youth football.
Discipline, good habits, all of that can be reinforced with age-appropriate training and actual CARE.
