Also on a positive note! We had an out-of-state visitor today who won the entire local: everybody’s favorite Diamond 5 smurf, Azan.
First time meeting him, got to play like 20 games of casuals, learned more about the Jamie matchup, and had the most fun playing I have in a while.

Disappointing month for me in Philly. 1-2, both of the losses being game three close sets, and one win away from a stacked top 8 out of 17 entrants.
Lost to two players I’ve beaten before, too. Already watched the replays and know where it crumbled, but I’m still sad.
