A crucial, timely report on the weaponization of antisemitism. @itamann.bsky.social and I contributed an essay exploring its legal dimensions, reflecting on Jewish plurality and the knotty relationship between Jewish and Israeli identities. Grateful for @emilyctamkin.bsky.social brilliant guidance.

Don't let all the news distract you from the ongoing starvation and killing of Palestinians in Gaza.

The Israeli govt is deliberately trying to prevent news getting out . It dismisses what news there is as Hamas propaganda while refusing to let international journalists in. An information war too.

Finally out! Maayan Sudai & Ido Katri wrote for YLJ on the irrationality of gender affirming care bans, illuminated most vividly via the pov of intersex people. This is such a powerful intervention because it manages to expose something deep in the ideological apparatus of the state. Must read!

Israeli soldiers used 80-year-old Gazan as human shield, then killed him
Soldiers put an explosive cord around the man's neck and forced him to scout buildings for eight hours. After his release, another division shot him dead.
