Many of us thought the terms of the October ceasefire agreement removed the transfer of Palestinians from the Israeli agenda, at least temporarily. Wrong.

The Economist makes it look too much like the refusal to withdraw from Syria is in the name of all Jews. It's time for media to understand that there is no such thing as "the Jewish state". Israel is a state that defines itself as much, but that is not more and not less than its self-definition.
