Cardiff. He/him.
If all instruments were named like the hurdy-gurdy:

Accordion = The breezy-wheezy
Saxophone = The showy-blowy
Violin = The stringy-pingy
French horn = The horny-prawny

Start your Sunday right with Eartha Kitt being amazing.

God, imagine what a wonderful menace a young Eartha must have been, and would be now.

Seems unfair that you only get to use the bouncy slide to get off a plane when things have gone wrong. The bouncy slide should be a treat they give to the best passengers who did the flight correctly.

Am I weird for not seeing Park Chan-Wook's new film No Other Choice in the cinema because it's 139 minutes?

I really am a '90 mins plz, 120 if you really must' kinda guy.

And as for your 3-hour superhero movies, or equally long Marty Scorsese films, they can all feck right off.

Kids these days think Taylor Swift is some sort of master songwriter. But do they know nothing of Lou Bega? A man - like Beethoven - best known for his fifth symphony. And yet so much more.

We heard scratching outside the caravan. I quietened the girls by telling them it was a Welsh sex maniac with a tin opener. The talent here is chronic. I had an embarassing moment with one of the older generation but I brought it to an abrupt end when I told him about my husband.

I want to make this the first of a Snail Mail monthly print club. 12 cat prints over 12 months.

I’m calling it, ‘Tokyo’s Snail Meow Print Club’ but my partner thinks this pun is RUBBISH (which made me laugh and means I want to keep it all the more)

Does anyone know what the 'Bro Code' is? Is it just not telling your mate's wife that he's banging Melissa from HR every Thursday? Or does it change every week, like the code for the toilets in Burger King?

I know Facebook comments are bad for one's blood pressure, but I've just seen someone commenting on another library service's wellbeing event "these things are always in the day, what about people who work."

Guess what. We're the people who work. In the day. When the library is open. In the day.

SEX COUCH!
BABY, SEX COUCH!
looking at Airbnbs for a trip I'm taking later this month and woah, what a lovely, tasteful, not-in-any-way-a-sex-couch couch

Have finally seen Waiting For Guffman and first thought would be 'we have moved on with gay characters SOMEWHAT in thirty years.'

Like most of the Christopher Guest / Spinal Tap team stuff it's intermittently chuckleworthy but hardly essential. Still, Parker Posey, Fred Willard, Eugene Levy....

My mam was an operator. Once, a payphone making a call overseas was on a line that kept breaking. Mam kept monitoring and kept managing to reconnect them immediately. When the call ended, the person rang back to thank her, and put some money in the slot saying “There’s something for yourself”.

Cannot listen to Craig Charles mispronouncing 'Bowie' over and over for three hours.

Note: if you are still unsure, 10 years after his f***ing death, it is 'BO-' (as in Selecta) and not 'BOW-' as in BOW TO ME, PEASANTS.

Though in the end, our Dave said he really didn't care either way.

This is AMAZING.
If you've not seen it, I highly recommend Stephen Tobolowsky's (best known as Ned Ryerson from Groundhog Day) story on working with Seagal: youtu.be/5cUNU8GkMso?...

I'd also add that Executive Decision is his only decent post-Under Siege movie with a most un-Seagal like element to his role.
