I had a wonderful time sharing my worm culture of the future, erotic linocut zines, and the two new prints I made in January.
We raised funds for ZCC (my local food resource) and the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota with the funds from Walk Like A Penguin!

i know that this is an unpopular take, but everyone starting their own newsletter as a revenue stream is not a sustainable model for writing and reporting or for people who love and want to pay for media.
A lot of people cannot just start a paid newsletter or become freelancers to sustain their careers. The sports, metro, and international desks did work that requires *team* resources, like legal checks, documents, access to archives, and long-term beat experience.

Library workers, library patrons, students of all ages, moms and dads and grownups of all kinds, have been organizing against book bans in this district for years, some of the most inspiring people I’ve met.

It’s actually really liberating from the grip of paranoia to assume you’re being read or listened to and act accordingly. If you assume what you say is public, if you don’t want someone to see it or hear it, don’t say it or do it. But if you do say it, say it with your whole chest
