Here's an idea: Any Democrat who wants to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate in 2028 must pledge to rip this cabal of anti-democracy tech fascists out of our government.

Anyone who won't make that pledge is for the billionaires, not the people. This must be a deal-breaking litmus test.
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.

This is where Silicon Valley authoritarianism is heading:

I love girl math.

Our dryer broke, bought a new one, fixed the broken one, and returned the new one.

So my wife says, “girl math says we now have enough money for a Switch 2.”

Why are things unaffordable? If the min wage increased at the rate of productivity since 1960, it'd be $27 today—not $7.25

Billionaires & Mega Corps have stolen at least $20/hour from working Americans for 65 years—an estimated $79T

Things are unaffordable because billionaires are stealing from us

We are doctors, teachers, and elected leaders working to make our country better.

We will not let Trump intimidate or debilitate us. My op-ed:

Getting accommodations should be an easy process. Fast and easy and simple requiring zero documentation. Just ask and get it. Or have a third party ask for you and get it.
It's basically impossible to get an IEP if you have a disabled kid who is currently getting good grades, so you have to wait until the grades start falling to get necessary accommodation. 🙃
Once again, no one making these claims seems to understand the enormous hurdles in the way of getting a kid the help they need - in this case - I dare anyone suggesting this to go through an IEP process.

Why did I decide to do trauma therapy?

I’ve spent my adult life doing just fine suppressing those memories.

I’m be told that my anxiety and depression would say otherwise.

Can you imagine how classroom funding would change if we went to Medicare for all?

The amount of money districts have to spend on insurance takes money out of the classrooms.

The savings would be able to shrink class sizes to something reasonable.

And why do I feel so uncomfortable when it is quiet?

"No ceiling" results in what we have: a couple dozen psychopaths control several trillion dollars and the power has made them go stark raving mad. They are obsessed with using their concentrated wealth to punish the population and remake the country into a failed state and international pariah.

To make common cause with this Administration is to support an affirmatively white supremacist vision of this country. Period.

Every corporation.
Every Republican.
Every influencer.
Every Governor.
Every evangelical leader.
Every voter. Yes. Every voter.

Any political story without a villain is incoherent. The gop has it. Life sucks because of minorities. As long as Dems fail to recognize the inherent conflicts in our system they’ll be ignored as a party.
The New Deal wasn’t built on a promise that there would be “no ceiling” for the richest Americans.

Quite the opposite, in fact. FDR knew its politics could only work if he singled out the rich as villains and knew that its policies could only work if the rich paid their fair share in taxes.

I’m so sick of adults hating on kids for their meme culture.

Let the kids have their fun. We had ours back in the day and hated it when our parents gave us a hard time about it.

Celebrate their joy. Don’t hate on it.

Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.

That caused so much stress and turmoil.

The joy I’ve found is in creating new traditions that last only as long as they are joyful for everyone and not an undue burden.
