The system is not broken, it’s working as designed.

The Democrats are never going to learn or listen, they don’t care and they are laughing at all of us.

If we could vote our way out of our exploitation, then they wouldn’t allow voting.

Trying to update my resume to please the robots and was reminded of the time back around 2008 that an eng manager told me, paraphrased, "We're not going to use git, be serious." So we kept using something called "subversion" instead. Pretty sure he's wealthy now, which proves he was right. 🥂

Chuck Schumer Helps Pull Democrats Back From Brink Of Courage

A leader would not have lost eight colleagues tonight. This happened because you let it happen or because you’ve totally lost control of the caucus in one of the most important moments since you’ve been Democratic leader. Either way, it’s on you. You need to step down. We need someone who can lead.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

It doesn't actually matter if Chuck Schumer votes for this or not.

If he can't keep his caucus unified to protect healthcare for over 10 million Americans, he should resign as leader.

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.

agreeing to make a terrible deal while your main opponent is quite literally being boo'd on live tv by an entire stadium of people is the kind of political instinct you'd normally only find in a 3 week old dead goldfish

NEW — Columnist Bella BAHHS is back with a message for everyone joining the resistance in Chicago and beyond.

What some non-Black Chicagoans are now experiencing is what Black folks have faced for generations: policing as a tool to protect power and profit.

ICE violence does not exist within a vacuum. It didn’t come out of nowhere. This is how it feels to be Black and policed in this country.

Knockout soccer games should start with the shootout, so both teams know who will win if they don't decided during open play. Also then all the starters are still in for the shootout. #GothamFC #NWSL

The Premier League is now 5 seconds of open play then 30 seconds of prepping for a set piece.

We can fix this with rule changes:
- Teams only get four set pieces per possession
- If the set pieces are bad, the other team gets the ball
- If they're good, they get four more
- Let's call them "downs"

It's weird. A hundred years ago, only rich people owned cars while everyone else owned horses. Now only rich people own horses while everyone else owns cars.

How the stables have turned.

It is 2029. Daily battles between the Taco Truck Corners and the Goat Meat Vendors rage across the nation. Everyone’s hair has been forcibly dyed blue, and sleeping is now outlawed because woke. Billionaires have fled the planet.

It is also the strongest economy ever.
