You're actually correct. The group on the left has been in existence for 90 years. And, they support transgender healthcare. The group on the right has been in existence for 23 years. And, is loosely made of members that have broken away from real science. And, anti-transgender.

The fact we hate the people who are attacking the BBC is not reason enough to defend it. Our enemies' enemy is not necessarily our friend.
Revealing division in my timeline between (1) my insider friends who have lived privileged lives who are very keen that we defend the BBC and think it's important it survives and (2) my outsider friends who feel (at best) ambivalent about the BBC's survival.

I'm actually glad that Emily Maitlis publicly admitted to working to take evidence based healthcare away from vulnerable children.
I hope when Britain becomes less warped and hysterical, she faces the legal and moral consequences she deserves for doing so.
