Quick reminder of our mission: Red, White & Royal Blue means so much to so many people and we want to partner with a charity that matches our passion. Money raised will go to the Ali Forney Center, an LGBTQ+ youth organization much like Henry & Pez's shelters in the RWRB book🧵
FirstPrince Fan Philanthropy Mission Statement: Red, White and Royal Blue has meant a great deal to so many people all over the globe for presenting a world where representation and queer love and joy is not only accepted but appreciated. In the current political climate in which hate and dehumanization is promoted on a daily basis, this story reminds us all that love can rule politically and personally with the heartwarming romance between the biracial, bisexual son of the female president and the gay prince of England. The fans want to honor RWRB by raising funds for the Ali Forney Center, an organization focused on protecting LGBTQ+ and at-risk youth from harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to be independent. Readers of RWRB by Casey McQuiston will make the connection that in the book, the character of Henry eventually goes on to help run and facilitate queer youth shelters, opening one in Brooklyn New York. The Ali Forney Center is just like the one envisioned in the novel. This fundraiser connects our love for the story and honors and celebrates it while uplifting an organization that shares the vision, mission and impact.
