New pinned post time. Hey there! I'm Lalas, and I do art sometimes but mostly just blather and then go "is this anything"? I do fandom art and OC art and I like to yell about fiction. That's pretty much it. Alt text happens when I have energy

I really can't stress how important it is for progressive and leftists to contend for school, library, water, etc etc boards. Hyper local involvement in our communities where we can actually influence lives.

Like yeah my dogs totally judged me- poodles do that- but not for needing them around to ground me and bark at things to confirm their reality. Now I don't have them. Now I fully would have to guess.

I feel like the hardest part about if what I feel like is going to happen actually happens isn't my lack of coping skills, it's the fact that neither of my dogs are around anymore to make me feel better

Istfg if I end up having psychotic symptoms again I'm going to scream. I am LITERALLY STILL RECOVERING FROM THE FIRST ROUND which was NEARLY A DECADE AGO. I don't even have anything diagnosable that'd caused it, either! Uggggghhhhhh

We've already seen AI driving people to psychosis, but man, what happens to these people if/when the bubble pops. Not just to the economy but also, just, to these people's brains, what happens If AI stops being available or just stops being cheap/free to use

Just because I'm the writer/director of TADC doesn't mean I deserve all the credit for everything. There MANY times when a board artist or an animator will come up with a detail or shot that elevate the themes/characterization in a way I didn't even think of, and I'm like "fuuuuuck that's genius..."

Another name for this would be "pre-existing conditions," a way used to exclude disabled people from health care for decades in the US.

She was a *child* when she did this and Olbermann preyed on her just a year or two later. We can hold her responsible for all of her later in life terrible grown-ass decisions, but this is a disgusting failure of the adults in her life to protect a CHILD.
