I went to my Congressman's local office today. First off, they were surprised that I was there. They said they had been getting phone calls, but I was the first walk-in. That said, the phones were not ringing off the hook. If the DC phone lines are busy, try calling the local office.

The last resistance movement was hugely effective, Democrats beat Trump in 2020 and won sweeping victories in the 2018 midterms. “The resistance didn’t work” has become this line everyone repeats and it makes no sense
I mean, the lack of any new resistance movement might just mean a bunch of people learned that they needed to change things up—since the last resistance movement wasn’t effective.🤷♀️
