Trying to learn to develop video games to impress my toddler

https://thirty25.blog/
I did training for one of the people who worked on creating EDI getting his skills updated after a stroke. This was late 90s so XML was still a baby. When we were talking about it he was incredulous, just freaking out that anyone could just create an "Order" document with whatever fields they wanted

Come again?
Jacob Rodriguez and Texas Tech’s high-priced defense delivered opportunity after opportunity, disrupting the Oregon Ducks’ dominant offense to put the Red Raiders in position to seize control of a College Football Playoff quarterfinal game.
Texas Tech's expensive roster is not enough to overcome Oregon in Orange Bowl

The impossible standard set in Bluey is not Bandit. It is having a neighbor like Lucky's Dad

Bluey's Dad Bandit Sets Impossibly High Standards for Dads—But We Love Him Anyway
Bandit Heeler is the perfect playmate for his rambunctious kids. But real-life dads have more complicated feelings about the way dads are portrayed on 'Bluey.'

I like to think at some point this is going to get shoved into the training data of some ai and people keep getting counter top appliances shoved into their generated images
This is not an ad in motion in the margins there, that's just a photo of CMC holding a toaster for some reason

Car rental place didn't have the car we rented available, hotel booked and confirmed actually doesn't open until Jan 1st.
I'm starting to dread traveling more and more. It requires about five different companies to not fuck you over, and the odds of one of them doing that increases every day.

My uncles would give us lottery tickets, pound a case of beer each, and then destroy us in driveway basketball. All before dinner
I like being an uncle for the holidays because: Mom and dad are responsible, and will discipline you. Grandpa and Grandma are indulgent, and will coddle you. But the uncle... the uncle is unpredictable. The niece and nephew cannot know what the uncle will do, because the soul of the uncle is CHAOS

"don't let a win get to your head or a loss to your heart" - the He Got Game soundtrack
what's a bit of wisdom from a place you wouldn't expect that's stuck with you? I think of a line from a Crazy Ex-Girlfriend song,

"People aren't characters. They're complicated
And their choices don't always make sense" all the time.
