It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.
Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

That Kristi Noem video with the detainees is so upsetting and the fact any sizable fraction, let alone a majority, of our society would endorse it is evidence of a deep rot in our entire culture. Like until you answer what fuels the appetite for that kind of thing it will only get worse

I've been thinking a lot about that bumper sticker which says "everything looks like a conspiracy theory when you don't understand how anything works" and folks it's pretty obvious to me that the people in power right now have absolutely no desire to understand how anything works.

Living with #fibromyalgia is crap.
Knowing that you have to divvy out your energy perfectly or you'll be a hot mess is screwed up.
Knowing that you'll push those boundaries because you want to exist, and that'll bork your body for a week--uggggh.
