Ended up having a break in the PVC pipe right at floor level. You can see it in the first photo. Second photo is the fix with a valve in place in case of another bust. We're probably replumbing the house this summer with PEX to replace the PVC to hopefully keep this from happening again. 😭 #plumbing

Another busted water line behind the washing machine after a night of single digit temps. Thanks to a leak detector, we were able to catch it and shut off our water main before it flooded our utility room. Otherwise the cats probably would have been floating pieces of furniture before we knew.
