Fun Fact, Puerto Rico (a US Colony) had universal healthcare for the entire archipelago for 40 years (1957 - 1993), the USA gutted it and shut that shit down.

This decision from the 3d Circuit is a travesty for Mahmoud and his family. If it sticks (which there are ways to challenge and delay), it will lead to ICE re-detaining him. And they may try to re-detain him now, even though that'd be illegal.

The title of this week’s episode says it all really: “You’ll Never Be White Enough to Escape Fascism”

We discuss Renee Good’s public execution and the equally harrowing aftermath. To give a heavy time some levity, we also talk about the meteoric rise of Corrie Storrie and Hudson Williams.

it's demoralizing to see how some GFMs run circles around keith porter's family's fundraiser, and to reflect on why that is. i think a lot about how quickly people became inured to the genocide of palestine, and how this platform has normalized harassing & deplatforming survivors, and why that is.

Last night, Robert Kennedy Jr gutted addiction & mental health grants, immediately cutting off access to overdose prevention, peer recovery services, & mental health support across the nation.

This will cost lives. Congress must enact full-year legislation that protects this funding.

The tragic death of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year old mother fatally shot by ICE, shows that ICE can’t be reformed and must be abolished.

I’ll be introducing the Abolish ICE Act as a step toward justice, accountability, and humanity in our immigration policy.

Time to melt ICE.
