Keep what's good in the ACA, but eliminate private profiteering insurers who sell the marketplace plans. In the short term, fix the ACA, then fight like hades for a national, publicly funded, single payer healthcare system. Pay for it as we fund fire protection and defense. Let clinicians run it.
If ACA goes away and people have to find their own policies you can count on millions of people being denied coverage because of preexisting conditions. The ACA made it illegal for insurance companies to refuse coverage or raise rates for preexisting medical issues. I know because I was one of them.
