ICE has been holding a disabled Black man for a year!

Rodney Taylor is a double amputee who was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE took him.

He’s been denied his prosthetics & placed in solitary.

His health is declining.

Public outrage might save his life.

Say his name:

Maybe because some of us care about other people, which is pretty inconceivable to a lot of empathy-free right-wingers? Though a lot of us aren't exactly mad; we're resolute in our commitment because it's not just one white woman being murdered; it's millions of BIPOC people being terrorized.
I don't know, Heritage Foundation-tied publication, maybe white liberal women are mad because a federal immigration official shot and killed one of them. And then called her a "bitch"? You know, on camera? www.dailysignal.com/2026/01/27/w...

Why are white liberal women lashing out against ICE? Is there an underlying rage that we fellas have missed?

I just want to point out that it has been very clear to me as a vulnerable person in our society that mutual aid is the best possible support. No it’s not tax deductible but it is the absolute most impactful money you can give to people on the ground trying to survive

This is from the NYT masthead editorial about the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. The highlighted line invalidates not just the editorial, but the very idea of newspaper editorials crafted by the consensus of a board. Better to publish nothing at all than to publish a line like this.

In today’s episode of We Live In A Hellscape, I’m in the process of making nanterre so I can have French toast this week. My batch of brioche dough is currently doing its first rise. After lunch I’m going to do a second batch of dumplings.

My kitten is laying on my chest now and helping me regulate. When I met her I felt like I got a sign from my beloved Sophie that she was the right one for me and that just feels like it has been the right decision ever since. Sophie looked out for me from beyond the rainbow ❤️

This is Minneapolis:

As you are struggling to process your own emotions after the latest violence perpetrated on your community you drive past a single person standing on a street corner holding a sign.

You begin sobbing.

The city is VERY quiet for a Friday but it’s not eerie.

This also goes for Democrats saying "Well in private my colleagues have shared their concerns." Your colleagues have lost the right to stay anonymous. Call a goddamn press conference and name them.
I’m completely fed up with elected Representatives saying shit like, “Republicans will tell you behind closed doors that they don’t agree with what ICE is doing”.

Playtime is over. Professional courtesy no longer exists.

Name them, record them, and make it public.

New: Alex Pretti, the man killed by the Trump-Vance mob of agents was an outdoorsmen, a mountain biker, an ICU nurse who "would go out of his way to help," say Veterans Affairs colleagues.

Cheerful. Funny. Gentle.

And still, per sources, Trump officials are urging staff to call him a "terrorist."
