The Washington Post with a story about how remaking an institution to appeal to the pro-Trump right doesn't help the bottom line.
EXCLUSIVE: After Trump took over the Kennedy Center in Feb, he vowed to make it "hot" again. So, how's it doing? @jeremybmerrill.com and I used data from the center's ticketing website to find out. Ticket sales are lowest they've been since the pandemic.

Kristi Noem is flat-out lying when she claims no U.S. citizen has been arrested in her violent crackdown. Do a web search on “immigration citizen arrested” and you’ll see. Here’s one of the many documented reports we found.

Republicans would not only have stormed the Capitol, they’d have overrun what was left of the White House, arrested him, gathered in the Oval, held hands and wailed as their heads exploded with the brilliance of a thousand suns.

Of course they deceptively edited this viral clip now playing on a loop outside Mike Johnson’s office by cutting it mid-sentence. Here is the rest of the part they cut out.

Today Trump confirmed that instead of helping you with rising costs, he's sending $20 BILLION of your money to...wait for it...Argentina.

Why? Because he wants to keep his right wing friend there in power, and he wants to help the billionaires who benefit from a bailout.

This screams “Everything is about to get worse, and more expensive.” Notice how he says food prices are bad, but what they’re going to do is going to help “the ranchers.” What that likely means is, some weird bailout for BigAg which will do nothing for prices and will be terrible economic policy.
Hassett: "One of the places where we've seen things that weren't moving in the direction we would like in the past is food prices. And we've had a really really big series of meetings where sometime soon, there's gonna be a really big agricultural policy that's gonna help our ranchers."

Finally, some common sense from Oklahoma education.

Ryan Walters turned classrooms into culture war battlegrounds. Reversing his Bible mandate isn’t “anti-religion,” it’s accepting the fact that the Bible is not a history book!

NEW — I dug into the story of ICE abducting a 13-year-old boy in Massachusetts and moving him 500 miles across state lines without notifying his mother, local cop's complicity, and how the federal government's justification for such cruelty is already falling apart:
ICE took a 13-year-old they said had a gun. Local cops say he didn’t.
Now he's detained 500 miles away from his Massachusetts home.
