Is Starmer running some sort of weird Ministry of Bad Ideas that keeps sending him bad policies that will lose him votes?

Ditto UK. Ditto other western democracies. Ditto FB.
If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

Happy Friday! We made it through the week! We had full clouds this morning so here is a second photo from yesterday's sunrise looking south which has an almost painterly like feel to it. Tap for full size. I hope you have a great day!

Am so glad it's not some total gloss over. Really glad. Am 😢

Our family made such tough choices, it was so scary shielding someone, thinking you could kill them bringing in contamination. It affected everything about our dynamics and relationships, to this day. As it did to so many, of course. x

Few more things to say here on Labour, the 'Party for Working People.'

First, poverty or basic life affordability for any group is not a current Labour party priority.

If it was, we'd see eg windfall taxes on supermarkets, utilities. Capital gains tax ⬆️ and anti price-gouging policies.

1/?
Tagging themselves as the 'Party for Working People' severed Labour's social connect to poverty, kids, young people, uni's, elderly, sick, disabled and those prohibited from work. This is their clear policy and programming lens.

Today, Labour are an exclusive outfit only for tax & NI contributors.

Starmer’s anti-asylum policies show how utterly clueless he is about the right-wing media’s role in politics.

He’s trying to fix a “problem” contrived by Farage, GB News and The Telegraph. He’ll never win, because ultimately he’s fighting a ghost – he’s fighting something that doesn’t really exist

Unless you’re under a rock, a woman over the weekend called around to over 20 churches/temples with a fake crying baby in the background as a social experiment and asked for help with formula. With the exception of one very small church, the only ones that said yes were Catholic churches,

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

I don't often call for resignations. But Sir Robbie Gibb's role in the BBC boardroom coup makes his continued role there untenable. He must resign or be removed
‘Gibb’s supporters say he is trying to save the BBC from itself; he was also heard last year to say that if he didn’t get his way, he would “blow the place up”.’
“a group of politically-appointed directors has forced the hand of Samir Shah, the chair, and the departure of the two most senior people in the organisation. Their resignations should be called out for what they are: political interference..”1/
