It felt weird to start playing live music after 40 when I hardly did it in my 20s and not at all my 30s but this is why I did it, and keep at it. I tried being a pro writer for 20 years and mostly all I did was sit inside a quiet room with my thoughts all day. Music got me back out into the world.
