Not the "rise of convenience" - the aggressive march of the automotive industry plus the long slide into the gig economy. This is the same thing but placing the blame properly on those with their hands on the levers of power and money instead of the people being manipulated.
The decline of third spaces and hangouts, such as malls, video rental places, arcades & skate parks has been a direct result of the rise of convenience and has also been objectively bad for society as a whole. Its not that everyone HAS to socialize, but having no option to without bars is a failing.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?
