The FBI seizure of 2020 election records last month was “a serious attempt to overturn and to take control of elections in Fulton County, Georgia,” Robb Pitts, the chair of the county board, said Thursday. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
Fulton County chair: FBI raid was ‘a serious attempt to overturn and to take control of elections’
“If they're successful here in Fulton County, in taking over our election, it's going to spread,” Pitts said.

I appreciate how this administration is speedrunning every possible crime against the establishment to remind us why laws are important but other countries just roll out a new coin or do some nice fireworks for their 250th anniversaries.
This was a failed coup by the Trump administration against Democratic members of Congress. Everyday Americans on the grand jury stopped it. The 6 targets were right all along—don’t follow illegal orders. Speak truth to power. Because it will prevail.

Hang them upside down
Police in Bloomington, MN just announced that one of the guys they arrested in an underage sex trafficking sting was a **background checker for ICE agents.**

He had a high security clearance in the Trump administration... and he was caught trying to abuse children. Sickening.

Right now, Democrats have the power to defund and abolish ICE. We should do it. This is about right and wrong—and the murder we are seeing on the streets is just plain wrong. Anyone who supports funding DHS and ICE is supporting the murder of Americans. We can stop this.

Kristi Noem must be impeached. ICE must be abolished. Democrats in the Senate cannot fund DHS.

Trump has created a militarized police force accountable only to him. These agents need to leave our cities NOW.

Law enforcement officers have always been unmasked in this country until ICE started wearing them last year.

*That* is the departure from norms. *That* is the step too far.
Tillis says he opposes ICE being barred from wearing masks: "I've seen people dox me. I've seen people take pictures and identify law enforcement officers and then put their families at risk. So, I think that's a step too far."

It’s hard to process the scale of harm caused by *one man* succumbing to the correlation fallacy.
A resurfaced claim of Kennedy's is that he blames the flu #vaccine for his voice issues (spasmodic dysphonia).

What Kennedy leaves out is 1) his condition is often hereditary & 2) his sister also has it.

Just because something was reported following a vaccine doesn't mean it was caused by it.

The fundamental problem here is not one of bad apples. This is what the agency is designed to do. The barrel is bad to start with.
This video filmed by Ben Luhmann shows the moment a federal agent sprayed chemical irritants directly into a man's face in south Minneapolis.

Three agents already had the man pinned to the ground when a fourth agent walked up and sprayed the irritants.

ICE saw a Latino man driving a car. Chased him down and rammed him. Just because he wasn’t white.

He was just a guy - an American citizen - driving to the auto shop.

This, this, this. Tired anytime someone whines that Democrats don't have any power, can affect no change. When the GOP were out of power, they ground the gears of government to a halt -- and when they got going again, they did so slowly, on the GOP's terms. (In part because Democrats were passive!)
“But what do you expect Democrats to doo-hooo?”

1) Refuse to fund this criminal government anymore.

2) EVERY one of them call to abolish ICE (and bonus, DHS). No more “they need training” shit. Promise prosecutions.

3) EVERY one of them call for Trump’s impeachment, relentlessly, EVERY day.

As resignations like this take place, we're ending up with a harder and harder core of fbi/doj willing to do whatever the president wants, no matter how egregious.
This is appalling: Top DOJ officials are actively pushing for a criminal investigation into the widow of Renee Good, leading prosecutors to quit en masse, NYT is reporting.

Who in the White House ordered DOJ to do this? That's the next thing to establish.
