I typically write at the bedroom desk where I keep my laptop. It’s not much, but it gets the job done.

I'll answer for Jewel, the MC from my villain redemption story
& Awdrith, a morally complex major side character from Lawcket's WIP.

It does depend on the stage in his life, but Jewel's morality is very complex.- 1/? long
Hey there, #NovemberWorldbuilders! It's GOOD and EVIL week. Today, tell me about the ethics/morals of your VILLAIN. If you don't have one of those, talk about another character, particularly one who might deviate from protagonist's moral philosophy

I guarantee this gif has appeared in text messages between Jack and Charlie enough times that they have actually discussed retiring it.

Which of them sends it the most?
😉
Which of them is legit funnier when they send it?

Jack- His tendency to monolog. No, I'd honestly love it, cuz I could listen to him talk for hours, but he can afford to dail it back a little.

Charlie- Her chaos! Omg, I love how chaotic and funny and loud and rebellious she is but yikes! Wouldn't want too much of that in MY life 😅
Today's random #Lovember #WritingPrompt for the #WriteSky #WritingCommunity:

What is something you love about a character of yours, that you would absolutely NOT love if you met them IRL? 😆

Villain's ethics

Wingless hates Fairies for what they did to him. He hates Humans and half-Fairies because, to him, they are inferior. So he wants to seed discord and chaos across the Realms.

Day 13

My desktop is stuffed away in a corner of my bedroom. I once had an office, but I had to surrender it to my husband when he started working from home.

#FantasyIndiesNovember 13: Where do I write?

I have an office in my house. However while my husband was still working and pacing and talking, also in an office upstairs, I began writing downstairs in my living room and discovered I like that. Nearer to coffee!☕️

With Mana being from Fannarey, that falls under Plyr's "jurisdiction." The two most important tenets to that belief are (and spread into secular life):

1. Death is only temporary.
2. Live a life worth reaping.

The first says go do shit, the second implies to do well (good).
It's #NovemberWorldbuilders time! We're talking about the concepts of GOOD and EVIL in our fictional worlds this week. Tell me: what does your world's authoritative figures say about morality? Is there a church or governing body that tells people how to live? What do they command?

#NovemberWorldbuilders 13: Moral authority

Khelds have a central moral authority: the Old Mothers.

Old Mothers form a social backbone. They operate centers of learning and administer justice both local and at the highest levels. They advise and perform truth-readings.

Never cross an Old Mother!

Depends on the particular spirit/god/saint. Focusing on the hoo-man pantheon.

You've done it again. Have a chart.

I have a bigger chart for this, but the alt text will be hell. Here's the oversimplified version, complete with plot holes.

Where do I write?

Mostly in my chair in the living room. Sometimes I edit as I make dinner, or if Jay-Jay is watching something, I'll write in the bedroom. So wherever I can.

In the Be Series, it's fun to explore different morals between the 5 kingdoms through their different fairy tales. For example, the East & the West share a story called The Clumsy Glassmaker. The East is about good work ethic. The West is about honoring mistakes.

I wasn't sure I had an answer, but then I remembered that everyone in this world is pretty ok with how mage children are treated in this setting.

It is understood that mages cannot be allowed to simply exist in the world. Their talents are too dangerous and too valuable.🧵
What's up, #NovemberWorldbuilders peeps! Have you dared to get a little freaky with your worldbuilding? Does your fictional world's society believe something to be good or evil which societies on Earth (generally speaking) do not agree with? How did you come up with that idea?👀

Compared to Earth, many Nixtralian realms are more progressive & accepting of what we know as LGBTQ+.

Same-sex & polycule relationships are much more common there, especially in more progressive realms like Livoria following the Faumen War.

The good news? Both pyreans and ma'jenn consider unchecked environmental destruction a moral failing.

The bad news? Pyreans generally accept that "if I stole it from you fair and square, it's mine now." Just gotta get good at stealing it back I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My own value system seems slightly off-kilter to our world?

Im not a Christian. Im a feminist. Im a closet anarchist. A lot of my own moral values and worldviews appear in my work, and others might not relate?
